Things to Consider While Planning Your Event
Reserve equipment early to ensure availability
Ask to see rental equipment
Look at pictures of rental company events
Find out about additional fees or charges
Request emergency phone numbers
Secure proposals, sign them, and request a signed copy
Ask about damage waivers; they will cover accidental equipment damage
Determine if you will deal directly with the same person throughout your event
Learn if they will help you find something they don’t carry
If referred, tell your coordinator – reputable companies will thank them
Pay a deposit to reserve equipment; most companies will not hold equipment without it
